Spent a great Saturday night with friends at Stanway Harvester. Food was delivered promptly and was delicious.

About 20 pounds pp including drink.
Big menu, big portions, probably a bit too much tbh, though if you don't like grill or burgers do not come here. Would like to see maybe an enchilada or fajita option for a bit more variety as most stuff was meat and chips. I had half chicken which was well cooked and the chips were great. Peri peri sauce quite spicy. Salad bar is very good as expected, and I was surprised at the amount of different sauces.
For service we sat in the bar section so we did not have waiter service but there was nothing to complain about. They managed to get us a table when it was busy.
Strongly recommend if you like grill foods. A few vegetarian options but not the best. Wheelchair access.

Other than a polite waitress there was nothing positive about the visit.
Food, very poor quality. A simple dish that wasn’t cooked to a normal edible standard. Chicken breast overcooked and dry. Gravy very watery, kids pasta sauce also very watery. Would never order a steak as they can’t get that right.
Food quality has gone down hill lately. I am not sure why, maybe because it’s always overcrowded and the chefs might not be able to handle the amount of dishes they have to cook. Salad bar is a joke. Very messy and not much choice. Looks like kids help themselves and touch everything. Pasta salad tasteless. Food looks certainly like it stood out for hours. The best part must be the bread rolls with the lurpark butter.
Such a shame because it is a great venue, the food is the only let down. Especially when such simple dishes like the “simply chicken” isn’t cooked to a tasty meal. Like how can you get that wrong. Much nicer to home cook. Especially with them prices.

A real shame, came away extremely disappointed, 3 steaks, not one cooked correctly. Poor choice of veg, only chips, bullet peas...spoilt what should of been a nice evening for my young daughter, who after waiting whilst others ate had to have hers as a takeaway...a proper shambles all round, the one saving grace would be the fantastic waitress, this lady would get 5stars...

wouldn’t recommend coming here, food was awful, gammon was like leather, my brother and i ordered the same food both asked for the meat to be medium rare, i got rare and he got medium my stake wasn’t rested either. they gave my partner the wrong meal to begin with, then made her wait 10 minutes for her actual order to come out, the chicken was oily and just not nice. the nicest thing about the entire experience was the salad bar, which i could easily recreate with my eyes closed. considering we spent £152 for the five of us guess it’s not ridiculous to want our food somewhat nice.

Food was cooked nicely and tasted great but chips could have been hotter and my burger bun was all soggy on the bottom. Choux bun was a bit flat on my dessert and not much like choux pastry at all. Would have been better filled with a creme patisserie and then cream on top rather than white choc mousse and ice cream

Excellent visit to the harvester stanway tonight served by the lovely Michelle she was just simply brilliant nothing was to much trouble . Food was great , salad cart always topped up and was delicious .Fantastic value for money . Really enjoyed are visit.

I had previously rated this 5 stars, however over the years the quality seems to have gone downhill. Visited as a group of 4 who were all very disappointed in both the quality and size of our meals.
Prices have gone up and sizes have come down.
Unfortunately I probably won't go back moving forward.

Great place for a weekend lunch with family. Great ambience, smiling and warm attending staff, great food. It's a 9/10 (sneaking 1 away because it's just a tad bit expensive when you compare portion sizes).

Service was very good, considering the place was absolutely packed out. Food brought out promptly, salad bar well stocked and replenished.
Server actually taking time to promote the deals too!
Will be back, a new favourite harvester that's worth travelling to get to.

It was okay - service was the best bit. Prices are crazy on par with independents where the food is much better. Chicken was tough. Steak was touch. My pitta bread tasted of dough and didn’t eat any of it. Could have paid £15 somewhere else and got better quality food.

Visited for a family breakfast, 12 of us in total. Food arrived quickly and hot considering there was a lot of us. Our server Laura was very attentive and nothing was too much trouble. Great family atmosphere and a very happy visit from us all. Would definitely recommend
